Animation 

  •  My First GIF animation - beginner tutorial on making a Gif animation using GIF construction set (shareware)
  •  3D Animation Workshop  - some very good tutorials on creating 3D art and animations (they are pretty technical). Of particular interest for learning the animation process is lesson 7 (and especially parts 2 & 3).

    Principles of animation and cartooning:

    •  How to Animate - Two fantastic tutorials in basic animation techniques (made for "paper and pencil" animating, though the techniques still apply)
