Scratch is a programming environment that enables you to make your own games, animations, stories, music and art.  To get an idea of the sorts of projects you can make with Scratch, you should look at the official Scratch website.  There you will find a gallery of projects submitted by people from all around the world.

Once you get started using Scratch yourself, you should create an account on the Scratch website so that you can share your own creations.

Further help can be obtained from the following places:

  • the official Scratch site at http://scratch.mit.edu  (there are forums where you can ask questions)

  • the Learn Scratch site at http://learnscratch.org which has an excellent set of video tutorials demonstrating use of all the code blocks.
