Introduction

Klik and Play is an object oriented programming environment, free for use in school activities. Simple games can be easily created by absolute beginners.  With more experience and by devoting some time to studying the manual, quite elaborate shoot-the-badguys or destroy-the-aliens type of games can be created.

However, there are some limitations to what Klik & Play can do. It can't scroll entire screens, backgrounds, or Scenery. So to put it simply, a "Doom" or "Quake" style game is out of the question.

Downloading

The school version of Klik & Play can be downloaded from here:  School Version

Make sure that you also download the manual. It will install onto your start menu with each chapter in Adobe Acrobat format.

Start by playing some of the ten demo games that come with Klik & Play.

Now you are familiar with what Kilk & Play is, you are ready to make your first game!
