To make your first Zook,
choose the Bamzooki Zook-kit from the
start menu, then click on New. Give your Zook a name.
On your screen you will see a 'primitive'. If you hold down your
right mouse button and drag you can change your view.

The arrow you can see on the top is very important - that shows the
direction your Zook will move.
In the top right of your window you should see the following tools:

 |
If you click Edit, then click on your Zook, you will see a palette of
sliders that you can use to change the shape of your primitive. Hold
down your right mouse button and drag around to see different
views of your Zook as you change the Shape sliders. Don't
worry about the Motion and Colour options at this stage.
 |
| It is best not to change the colour of
your main primitive at this stage, otherwise you won't be able
to see the direction arrow. Leave setting the body colour
until last of all. |
|
|
Next choose the Add tool
and add some other body parts to your Zook. Choose a body part,
then click the place on your main primitive to add it. Rotate
around to make sure you have it in the best position. Use the
options on the Shape sliders to get your first leg how you want it.
 |
Use the Mirror button to copy the leg to the other side.
Use the Duplicate button to make another leg, then Mirror it, so
you have four legs. |

Click the Test button to see
your Zook move. Don't worry if it doesn't move very well yet!
